There are only two more days left for early voting and then next Tuesday is the “day of days”. For those of you that haven’t voted yet I ask that you please do so, and when you do please use the voter guides below to go all the way down ballot and vote for the Conservatives listed.
I especially ask you to vote for my friend Hal Weatherman. Brenda and I have been friends with Hal since we joined the original Run Forest Run team over twelve years ago. Since then he has never wavered in his conservative values and beliefs. He is a husband, father of three and a devout follower of Christ.
Hal believes in everything you and I believe, including:
Multiple avenues to a sound education, including public, private and home schooling.
Apprenticeship programs to teach young people the trades. This is extremely important for those that can’t afford or want to attend college. They also pay very well.
Preventing China from buying North Carolina’s agricultural land, especially near our military bases.
Election integrity. Hal has been a leader in the effort to make sure our elections are fair and honest.
I could go on but you get the picture. Hal is the best choice for Lt. Governor and he needs our help to get there.
I know I’m preaching to the choir. If you are reading this, you most likely have voted already and in the right way. But what about your friends and family? Do me a favor, pick up the phone and reach out to people that you’ve been meaning to call for a while but for various reasons haven’t. After you catch up ask them if they have voted. If they haven’t then you can use your natural charm to convince them of the importance of this election. If that doesn’t work, then shame them. Tell them that you will broadcast far and wide their laziness and unpatriotic attitude.
As a last resort you can always blackmail them. If you are true friends, then you should have information from their past that you can use against them. Now is the time.
