For the past couple of months I have had a few people urge me to try, once again, to run for the 6th Congressional District race. They would usually tell me something like the “third time would be the  charm” or some other bromide that would entice me to give it another try. I would normally shrug them off, explaining to them that I was never one of those that had an overwhelming desire to be elected to public office. That I had been thrown into the role of politician and, since the last election, have regained my whit and charm, missed by so many.

Well, on Friday December 15, I found myself changing my normal Friday local schedule to work some accounts in the RTP area. I figured that at 11:00 I would soul search one last time and let God tell me whether or not to drive the extra thirty minutes to the Fairgrounds and register.

Long story short. I got busy at an account and when I remembered to look up at the clock it was 11:45 and not enough time to get to the Fairgrounds in Raleigh. I smiled to myself and went back to work. God is good.

For those three people that urged me to run, I won’t tell Brenda who you are. But you owe me.

As you can see below, I plan on staying active and I wish all the Conservative candidates Godspeed.
Some more than others.
