If you haven’t seen the clip it is somewhat pathetic. There were a few cheers, but from what I observed, the reaction from the audience was anemic and I can understand why. These people were paying from $150 for the cheap seats up to $650 to get up close to this B lister.

Because of their transgression and their forced admission to harboring un-Southern feelings, “The Dixie Chicks” changed their name to “The Chicks”. But they still suck. As proof, Google their rendition of the National Anthem at the Democratic Convention. It was awful. I’m sure he doesn’t want to end up like “The Chicks”.

I guess it’s his right to use his celebrity to speak his mind any way he sees fit, but why do it in a foreign country? Does he think it’s what they came to hear? I actually like his music but I wonder how long his fans will keep paying for these diatribes. Will he eventually be forced to change the name of his band too? If so, might I suggest “Bwuce and the B List Band.
